“Reconnecting you to your truth”
Madhuja Sawant is a Counselling Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and a deep commitment to supporting individuals on their journeys of healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. She has worked with clients across different age groups, backgrounds, and life experiences, supporting them through emotional challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, and the process of understanding themselves more deeply.
Her professional journey has included work as a school counsellor, helpline counsellor, Animal-Assisted Therapy practitioner, and psychologist. She is a Certified Animal-Assisted Therapy Practitioner from the University of North Texas and has completed training in Mindfulness Meditation through Inner Space Therapy.
Her Approach
Madhuja’s approach is eclectic, person-centred, and collaborative. She integrates talk therapy with mindfulness and somatic awareness, recognising that our experiences are held not only in our thoughts, but also within our bodies. This allows therapy to support both insight and embodied healing. The approach is tailored to each individual’s unique needs rather than relying on a single therapeutic framework.
She believes that therapy is not about fixing or changing who you are. Instead, it is about creating a safe space where you can explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion, and honesty, while reconnecting with what feels authentic and meaningful to you.

A Note From Madhuja
“Many of us spend years becoming who we needed to be—shaped by our experiences, relationships, expectations, and ways of coping. Therapy can offer a space to gently explore these layers, understand yourself more deeply, and move towards a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.”
